Hey all this is the theme I made for the contest but am sooooo tired of waiting for them to start the contest I said fuk it and am releasing it here early..

This .zip contains a cab install for ease of installation
BUT THIS ONLY WILL WORK ON PRE #15 release's of touchflow
the newest installs of touchflow hold the graphics in 2 separate folders
this one is set to install everything into the windows directory.
If you love your bootscreen you have now back it up first as I included the bootscreen and the .tsk file inside the cab it will overwrite your current one.

Also once installed you can pull the welcomehead96.png from your windows folder and add your user avy to the user image on that screen to make it more personal if you wish.

This .zip file includes the S2U2 theme that you will have to install separately just replace your .gfx folder in your S2U2 install with this one.

After this I will be loading and testing the latest build of touchflow as well as the theme manager to make my themes compliant with the new formats but I'm sure this will be a nightmare and take a little time so until then here you go...

Yes this .cab can be uninstalled if it fails for you just uninstall.. no worries.

read the entire release notes clearly states why this wont work for you. theres only 1 way to change a theme on a rom with the graphics cooked in [like yours] also your image files are held in 2 different folders on that rom.

1. The theme manager works from XDA but I'm still perfecting the install on that, I have this one working and being tested by various people but I'm not ready to release it yet.

THIS IS WHY I STATED IN THE FIRST POST #15 and down on touchflow installs as this is the only ones I have tested I had nothing but problems with 16, 17 and 18 builds of touchflow 18 was so bad they pulled it off their downloads yet its cooked into countless roms already good luck with that... I'm not a coder and don't claim to be I just make stuff cool looking. Want to use my skins problem free read what they have been tested on and use what I recommend.... other then what I can or am willing to test try if you like but if it crashs something.... not my problem guys... I feel for ya but can't help ya.

And again.... once touchflow is cooked into a rom it makes it even harder to change the theme... not impossible but not for the faint of heart either unless you are fully aware of what you are doing inside that windows folder I suggest to not go in there and start renaming stuff.

As usual...I worship you! lol. Love the skin. Downloaded it last night and its running perfectly on my phone with the exception of 2 small things. And I know this probably isnt a reflection of your skin but for some reason the cam and cam v images do not show up again. I had them working with the alien skin finally and now theyre gone. Initially I thought it was me with the zip installs bc thats overwriting files but this is a cab and now its the same thing. My phone is possesed! hahaha. So by any chance do u have the individual files that I can try to upload? Kinda much to reinstall a whole cab for just those files. Oh, and on my mail tab, I have multiple email accounts, the large top icon (new message) is colored correct but with smallers ones, only the current mailbox icon is blue like the theme, the other email icons are green. Any reason why? Is it supposed to be like that? And if not, do u have the image file for that too so I can try to upload it? I attached a screenshot so u can see. LOL. Stop rubbing it in! Well, maybe thats not that bad....I like rubbing. hmmmm....haha Anyway, the email image worked however the cam images still didnt. Now perhaps reason why is when I open them to edit them the images are cut. Meaning a small piece of the left side is cut off like someone pasted them together in a file but put them together wrong. i uploaded a image to show u. I re-edited the image and save it as a 24bit bitmap file and now its working. IM DA MAN! IM DA MAN! lol. Thats what I call teamwork lol. So, thank u for the images babe!

pre #15 simply means releases before update 15. right now they are up to 19b i think? i don't follow so i'm not sure. and for installing, it's just a cab file so you just install like any other app.

I took the files in the zip and tried putting in the correct windows folders but when i do it says its launching touchflo2d and then it just goes back to saying "Tap to start touchflo". Ok I am not going to lie I have been at this for about 2 and a half hours and still no success. I have reinstalled the rom that I am using twice. (Bjs full) This is what I do Install S2U2 1.31 Replace the GFX ok so the S2U2 is setup right and shows what it should. I then extract the probex-touchflow2d-vistastyle-repacked by wcked and I install prob-x-desgin vista 2d touch flow and the two folders in the start icons. Alright so now I have your background and the start top and bottom are the same but I do not have the main part. So I install a touchflow2d called XDA-Team_Manilla2d(1) which I got from here. http://www.touch-innovation.com/details-144-10/ Ok so now I install that and it load something similar to yours but not yours at all. The clock is different basically everything is different. What am I doing wrong? I have searched and tried and tried and re tried I am finally resorting to posting. Sorry for the long post thanks in advance for any help.

Which file are you trying to open? I am amusing the probex-touchflow2d-vistastyle-repacked by wcked and you are trying to open it on your phone right? If this is the case You should first on your computer extract that .rar and take that when it becomes a folder and put it on your phone then you can go in your phone and install it. Please correct me if I am wrong.

If you read the thread you would see that I have stated

SOME PEOPLE ARE HAVING PROBLEMS DOWNLOADING THE FIRST 2 LINKS SO DOWNLOAD THE CODERZ REPACK.

It is the same file just re packaged by wcked I have Vista 64 bit on my pc and for some reason its .zipping it so some can't open he repacked with XP and it opens for the rest. unrar his file install the .cab as you would any other.

I went there and it has the megaupload link still and it is does not work for me. It keeps lagging out when ever I get to the download part. I have used firefox, IE, Google Chrome. I have tried about 30 times now and still no luck. I have restarted and used a different computer in the house. Thanks I got the file. Ok So I am still having trouble this is so sad... It works on the HTC Touch right? I re-installed the rom Bj's full he is using ultimate launch I think and that is the one that is showing. I have your start and your bottom bar but I do not have everything in the middle. I go to Settings personal tab today and I select the touchflow-vista-by-probex and it just gives me your background picture and not the accual bottuns and interface.

You have to install touchflow2d first you will most likey have problem with a rom that has ultimate launch built in as it is not going to let you deactivate it and touchflow and ultimate launch are not compatable together.

yep i did install the manita setting app and i dl the m2dct file and i put it in a theme at the customizer. however when i reset it to startup is a pain. it says 'tap to launch touchflo' when you tap then it goes to 'launching touchflo' then back to 'tap...' i reset like 3x and used a different theme as well. any help?

Since you already tried the repack before the theme file im guessing that it didn't work as the repack has a home.xml file that is different then the original in the version 20 update of touchflow2d. I suggest [now that you got stuff screwey] that you back up your contacts... hard reset, load version 20 agian make sure it all working with the stock skin restore your contacts, load the M2dct theme manager, now put the .m2dct files from here into the theme folder on your ppc open the theme manager click add theme click on the Vista2d.m2dct file and that should fix up. the theme manager will only use the changes made in the home.xml file not the entire thing so it will work for all versions now. Once you have the theme running from the .m2dct theme manager you can load the bootscreen and S2U2 stuff from the original contest download and you will then have the full theme. Hope this gets you sorted out.

I believe the drop down menu color depends on the tsk theme your running(your borders and taoday background, not tf2d background) So if you change that up, the drop menu should change also:)

i think the bootup is inside the cab so it shouldve installed to ur device. and to lock your phone do a search for S2U2, the newest version is 1.45 im correct and u wanna dl the qvga version...

The boot screen is in the .zip file called welcomehead.96.png you have to move that into your windows folder on your phone you will need total comander or something to move the file. when you move it to your windows folder it will ask if you want to overwrite the existing say yes.

Well locate the welcomehead.96.png in your phone through total commander copy it, then look for the windows folder open it and paste it. It will tell you if you want to replace it, click yes. And your done.

OK got it!!!! If you are using the same rom as me this does work!!! Thank God cause this is slick!!!!! I just used the .m2dct file, saved to card then added as theme in M2DC. This is awesome, looks frickin great, and the thanks is coming when i'm done here. Thanks again PROBEX!!!!!!

i coded the link for you and in the future please do the same.... its a newer rule around here as of a couple months ago and is a must to keep us from getting in trouble and too keep the links good.

hi yes this wil work on your touch if you dont have tfd2 you need to install that and instal customizer for tfd2 so you can install themes

Touchflo is just the technology that your phone uses to move through differnet screens and scroll using the touch screen. If you want tf2d, then go to the link below and install the cab file.

as superman has said above my post this istotally different than reg touchflo..... and their is many that will let you add sides and edit it but why.... very old and useless feature if you ask me... i would go the route of touchflo 3d but if you want the memory hog of a useless cube take a look at the cube config tool and the skins for it like vista cube, macflo, icube, etc.

Hi sound like you are on a Stock rom I would into Flashing a custom rom on your phone. Doing this you will notice a big difference in you phone and when running the M2D. I would go with NFSFANS rom for the Touch. Then what verison of the M2D are you using ?
