Had me trippin to cause one day they where working fine then just yesterday it was telling me there where out of date. Even tried uninstalling and re installing didnt work. Hopefully this works for me :brows:

Smooth on my mogul but only get 4 songs even with the updates. Not complaining at all but just wondering if anybody else has this issue. Any ideas?

no it only works for qvga devices and the diamond is vga.

naw be like i went through multiple of your "service reps" and have been spun and spun in circles and sick of it........ and give them a story about your net and how it didnt work 3/4 of the time and you would call and it would be fixed after 2 hours on the phone and than it would do it again a few days later..... and build off that and they will give you the data package back for the 5 bucks or so. :>

jsut try random amounts of letters or even numbers........ it does work and it just a random number that varies by the phone... trust me it works as you can also see from the responces in this thread.

try doing a couple of things...first go in to your comm manager on your ppc and enable the internet connection before you go in to the game and then when you are in the game try doing the song update on the main menu.

it might not sure to tell the truth since i havent ever messed with a phone on the cricket service.

are you on a school network or something...or work...cause what other reason would you have for being on a proxy and if you are then its possible because the tcp/ip settings on a phone a bit diff than on a pc....try seeing if you have a proxy manager on your phone and see if it lets you mask it so other programs dont know any better...you might be able to get away with that

no to both. im using Cricket internet. Cricket still uses a Proxy on thier service. maybe i should just hook up to a comp. use its Internet?

i just tested again on my touch without any troubles....... i dont understand what woud be causing this to some users..... has to be user error.... can anyone else back me up on this? and we have another version of this if you cant get this to work that i cracked also..... do a search for guitar hero and you will find.

yea i have the other version and didnt even have to go through any registration it automatically started working, but i noticed all the songs are only like half of em. i dont know if that version is just a demo or what but i only get half of the song during game play, but that version works. i want this new one but im having the same issue with the registration code.... :(

you are right it is vga and the reason that it doesnt launchis because it doesnt work on VGA devices or square devices like windows powered treos.

Whats up all, new to the site. And excited. I had a MotoQ till 2 days ago when my gf bought me a HTC Touch Pro. Im in love with this phone. Guitar Hero is my first DL off this site. But im sad to say.. I CANT REGISTER EITHER..
I've tried 123456, 123456789, 12345678, and just about anything else i could think off. 6666, 4444, ect.

If anyone has adviceto register, that would rock. Thanks in advance. and to the ADmins. Love this site. Awesome work.

i was with you all who posted problems about tryin to reg the game. Im new to PPC phones and dont know my way around mine yet.. But i had a feeling I needed phone info filled out like i did on my old MotoQ for apps to work.

I managed to find it some where in the settings. Added a name and just typed in 123456 as a reg code and the game accepted it now. So for those who cant reg this game. Make sure you have a user name filled out..

But now the game says loading and then exits. So it still doesnt work for me. But i hope this helps those who had problems tryin to reg.

no this will not work on the touch pro and will always close at that point since this is made for the QVGA screen resolution and not VGA....

thats what im saying... you install the cab file and than you register with any digits like 123456 or 12345678... dont get what can be so hard about that.. you can go with the old version if you cant get it to register and that one i got precracked for you so all you have to do is install and play..... pretty much RTR (ready to run)

I'm not positive, but you need to have at least a dpad or hardware-keyboard to hit the notes. also a qvga resolution screen; worked good on my mogul when I had it, but never tried it on anything else. will not work on VGA screens (touch diamond, touch pro etc)

well it wont work with vga... these are qvga screen resolutions only.... havent seen a VGA thus far.

read through the thread in the future and make sure that you have filled something in under owners information otherwise it will not work... you can find owners information on your device at start/settings/owners information. (all you need is the name filled in for the random key to work.
