-unlock w/ ImCokeMan's v2.31 (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=20370) unlocker

-Flash the leaked rom .exe to upgrade your radio to 3.37.15 (skip post-flash Customization if you're non-Sprint)(If you are a Sprint user, let the Customization run, then once phone has booted, run \Windows\PPST.exe to upgrade your PRI)

the sprint OEM version isnt working for me cuz when i am installing my apps the phone freezes and the screen is irresponsive after soft reset forcing a hard reset, thats why i wanted to reflash to stock, im gonna try the custom one to see if it doesnt have the same issue

you took out the battery and hard reset after flash correct casue this one works fine on my boys phone.

ok yes i did that i had to moves the syn cable to differant usb for some reason but how ocme with this rom theres a colors full little line at the top of the screen

try reflashing. Also, make sure you took the time to do all the steps corectly including taking the battery out and hard resseting if necessary!

Just a question that might not belong here but I had to ask.

I have a verizon vx6800 and if I install the custom rom to get the gps working would the gps work outside the U.S.A? I want to take a vacation into Mexico and wonder if I use the gps will I be charged as roaming or will it even work out there?

yes it will work without problems......... it would be best to use a tom tom or garmin found here at the site becsue the maps are on your card and no internet or service would be needed.

That color bar is a battery meter that was cooked into the rom. Its in the rom I'm using too. THought it was ugly until i figured out what it was. Take a look..

well you must not have becasue you didnt flash to the alltel radio.... go to ppcgeeks and than go to the ftp and than vogue/radios and get the alltel radio from there and than flash that over and you will be golden....

yea place it in manual bootloader..... hold the power adn camera button down shile soft resetting with the stylus......

ok...so im new to this... but i installed the rom and now my internet doesnt work. I keep getting error that needs to connect to sprint, but im a verizon customer. Everything else works thats not dependant on internet...how do i fix this? Its dialing the right number (#777) but can connect....

Im sure someone has the answer, but I sure dont bro. I dont exactly know how the whole cricket flash thing works. I would think that if you flash this rom (3.37 radio requred 1st) you could always take it back to cricket to re flash if you do mess it up. Not sure though so dont quote me.

No I did not...I just did a soft reset once the customizations started. What will the hard reset do? I just got everything setup on the phone the way I like it lol..I dont want to have to do a hard reset :(

well the injstructions say with any rom to take out the battery and hard reset...... so you have to do that for it to work correctly. and yes it will delete everything.

Ok just to confirm. Hard reset was done and Shape Services IM+ will not function with this ROM update. You can view your buddies online but as soon as you try to IM someone the program will close out.

Well it was working with the previous OMJ 6.1 version so it must have been something that changed between the two versions. I did get the latest JAVA version ROM...if that makes any difference.

On your previous OMJ 6.1 version I was able to add a hotmail account and aol account into the mail directory into the phone using the auto add settings. This version just directs me to the Windows Live website to check my email over the internet instead of through an exchange server....any ideas?

But your earlier version of the ROM was setup to automatically access the hotmail server and download the email to the phone...I dont get how this one does not do that

i run this rom and it does without probel detect the stuff for me i even tried hotmail like you said and i have no troubles.

you would ahve to talk to omj over at ppcgeeks to get it reupped sicne it is in his folder of the FTP..... and also this is a really old rom off a leaked version that was released around 6 months ago or so..... i would recommend going with an updated version.

If you want a Mogul ROM, use one of KAOS roms that say "MOGUL", or youll brick your phone bro. Gotta read more homie.
