New Upcoming Feature at SPJ! ( Barcode Scanning )

Hello junkies,

Figured I'de give you a section to discuss this if you want, but here is the news post again, feel free to make comments or ask questions.

I am posting this to announce a new feature that will soon be implemented to Wckediden downloads. You will be now be able to download and install programs/themes and many other things that are commonly found as cab files straight from your device just by pointing your camera at your computer screen! Thats right! We have found a few new technologies that allow us to create bar codes for each download that look something like this:

If you have the installed application, called "I-Nigma", you will be able to just hover over the bar code with your camera on your phone and it will bring you straight to the download. If you stay logged into Wckediden on your phone this works even better and will even automatically start the download for you without you even having to enter your user name and password!

You can even download and install i-nigma on your phone!
Heres the link ( It will automatically detect what handset you have ):

Once you have the program test it on the barcode I posted earlier in this post. It should redirect your mobile devices browser to Wckediden.com if it worked.

If you would like to make a new barcode for your download feel free to use this site to create the barcode for it:

When it spits out your URL for your new image, change <img src=" to and " alt= "qrcode" /> to to post it on this site :)

We, here at Wckediden, aim for efficiency and convenience and with this new bar code system it seemed like the obvious next step. No more worrying about whether or not the computer you have has activesync installed on it. Get your favorite programs instantly without the hassle of downloading them on your PC and then finding a computer with activesync to transfer the program to your device!!!

haha exactly. you can look for stuff on the computer and then just download it straight on your phone. I thought this would catch on quite fast ;)

Well we are, of course, hoping that the uploaders will make these for their downloads because it will probably increase downloads/popularity of the download for him/her; however there is no absolute way of forcing it. I intend on going through the posts throughout the day and creating barcodes for those anarchist uploaders that love to go against the grain and not make barcodes :)

you dont capture just get the barcode in the pic and you golden.... dont take the pic.

LOL... remember i said there was always the laugh of the day at Wckediden! well, there it is! LOL... Just load the app and when it loads your camera for you, hover over the pc's screen where the barcode is and you are good!

notfor me does it instantly..... make sure you get it as centered as possible.

the trick is since everything is inverted on the screen, dont look at the screen to line it up, look at the phone itself and line it up with the screen of your computer. :)

just do a search for it.. or go there website .. its afreeware. or search nigma

make sure you're going to it from the phone and not your computer :)

hey dash forgot to mention i did a test run using the OTA upload and once u upload it will create the number you need to download its in the test post that will only work for cab files,theme and few others maybe you guys can also integrate that too.

Well most QR codes just lead you to a site sure there are the ones that you can download stuff but ya know (This is America and we need options) sorry it's a voting season..

not a biggie but I get commented any time I make any mistake heck I've even been jumped on for spelling and ever miss spells stuff sometimes.. The only reason I put it because it can be miss leading when your searching for something specific..

It's all good though but what I should have done first was thank Venum X for posting in the first place.

I just tested it and can confirm that download works.

You get a box in the middle of the screen with the progress and and the end of the process you get "File download successful" with a red OK button at the bottom of the box.

I like the barcode readers, really cool and easy to use if a barcode is present. I really have not see too many though so i find this not as practical as it seems it should be.
