i have a xv6700 from verizon and wanted to switch to my new carrier Metro pcs. does anyone know how i could do so. i heard you can clone a usable esn from the providers phone into the 6700. i am not looking to use both phones.. i merely would like to replace one for the other. unless anyone knows any other way to use the phone for that carrier i would appreciate the help. thanks in advance

some places will unlock the phone for you otherwise it will have to have the esn changed to a valid metro esn.

6you would have to go to a corporate store and ask if they would unlock it for you. if not you would have to change the esn like i said above.

its been over a month and i still havent converted the esn over. i have done some nice upgrades though.. that last site i was directed to had a virus so i didnt want to proceed with using that software... can anyone assist me with changing over the esn from a samsung sch-r410 to a 6700. from verizon to metro pcs.. i have tried a bunch of different methods but they seem to leave out a piece of software or a step to complete process. so any help would be appreciated.. like i said i have been researching since i started this post... thanks..
