Ok, maybe you guys can help me. I am thinking of buying an HDTV. I recently took my 360 to my friends house and there was some major prohibitive lag. Trying to play Halo 3 and I push a button and the action is performed on screen like .5 sec after I push it! This pretty much makes gaming on his TV pointless. I am afraid of buying an HDTV an not even being able to play my 360 on. Anyone have this issue? know a fix for it?

Well bottom line is that your get what you pay for. I have a HDTV (Samsung LNT5271F) and I have no problem. If its a cheaper model maybe. I'm running it on HDMI. It could be the settings. check your setting and the limits of the TV. also if you not using HDMI make sure the component cables switch is click to HD.

Hmmm. His TV is pretty nice. Don't what his model is, but its a newer Panasonic. I don't know, maybe I'll try on another one and see how it is....
