I was just curious on that Cause I am thinking of going to At&t, but really really love the look and idea of the HTC TyTn II.

Now I am more familiar with CDMA network. But if I get a GSM phone, can I put it on any GSM network, T-Mobile at&t, etc. Or does it still have to be unlocked?

So it can't even be unlocked for sprint if you have a tilt?

no because sprint is cdma and att is gsm and sprint doesnt have a sim card spot and uses a whole different type of tower.

What they are getting at is that CDMA is the Network that Verizon and Sprint run on. GMS is a totally diff. type of network entirely. That means even if you unlocked the titl, it is still physically designed by networking to only be used on a GSM network.
