***ATTENTION READ THE FOLLOWING PLEASE***

I came across this info on the net and decided to share this with you guys. this has been said to work on wm5 but is also said to work on wm6 with no problems! me and Wckediden are not responsible for any type of damage you may do to your phone by doing this. so please realize that you are. . . DOING THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!

search the forums to find many different regedit programs and choose one than follw the below.

Using a Registry Editor navigate to the following location...

HKCU\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\

Underneath this category you will find the following sub-categories...

\InCall
\Ring

You can modify the 'InitVol' key to increase the sound output.

I only increased the Incall Init volume to (5) It is plenty loud now. This is confirmed

This is a volume hack for the phone it worked for me mybe it will work for you. anyway here it is. \HKCurrentUser\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\

Sound Catagories
Attenuation - I left this at 2 which is stock for all four settings.

Feedback
Atten 2 (default 0)
Init Vol 2 (def 2)

In Call
Atten 2 (def 2)
Init Vol - 5 (def 2)

In Call Feedback
Atten 1 (def 1)
Init Vol - 5 (def 4)

Ring
Atten - 1 (def 2) (mine 1) although 2 will make it louder
Init Vol - 8 (def 3) (mine 4)

Instead of going through all that isn't there a ringtone program that you can turn up the volume before saving somehow, the ringtones that came on the phone are plenty loud these are one that I have made from sound bits

:)
