Problems update from 2.17 or 3.16 to 3.35

I have the new rom downloaded from the HTC site. I start the process of Hard Booting it and what not. When I run the 3.35 update it reboots the phone and then it keep telling me 250 connection error. If I unplug the phone during the reboot phase and plug it back in time. It attempts to reboot a second time while in the bootloader Phase. Then it says Image Error.

My Rom Version is
2.17.651.0

My bootloader is

TITA100
SPL-1.07.0000
CPLD-9


Any suggestions?

do you have any firewall programs running in the background??? i Had that same code and it was my firewall from mcAffe, disable it and try again.

No Personal Firewall on.
- Also when the Handheld Reboot I get a Unknown Device Found. I have to unplug it and plug it back in to get it work any further.

unistall active sync reboot pc and the install active sync again then reboot you pc then plug the phone

I am able to see the phone in activesync. Its when it reboot into bootloader mode. I have to unplug it for it to be detected. Yet in this ROM it reboot twice and on the second time around it tell me Image Error.

your bootloader is wrong relock the phone and the bootloader must say 2.06 not 2.07 to flash to the stock rom.

I used Titan Relocker.

I still see 1.06 on the bootloader.
Where can i get 2.06 then?

i meant 1.06 bootloader wise since you said 1.07 above....... you should be able to link to usb and than wait 20 secinds run exe and be golden.... if you cant fix it you can send to me for the modding service and i will fix it and than mod it out also.

Step 1 : plug it in to your computer via USB
Step 2: wait for Active Sync to establish Sync
Step 3: Run the Update Utlity Program
Step 4: wait for reboot(do not unplug the phone at all)
Step 5: wait for Update to finish?

yup basically.
1. plug into computer ( will prolly here connect sound but will still say uninstalled.)
2. run the exe if flashing to an official rom like the official rev that i am proudly sporting.
3. follow the steps
4. DONE.|

make sure your phone is in bootloader mode before doing this..... hold power, camera, and soft reset all at the same time.

I think is that Bootloader.exe File that I downloaded that is still causing problems here

bro all you do is run the exe file and you dont have to but in the ruu folder. all you have to do is run the file that you get once the download is complete.

- I run the EXE file from the RUU folder and from the original download.
- Like i said "I hold down Camera, Power button, while rebooting"
- Its in Bootloader mode 1.06
- I start the 3.35.exe file update Stock rom
- It tells me to make all cables etc.. etc..
- It has a progress bar 0% - 100% and that is where my phone reboots itself while in bootloader mode and goes back to the bootloader again.
- Following that reboot I get the above error message.

FYI: I don't know if you remember but I had loaded the Bootloader.exe file to remove the Test only mode for the 3.16 but then it would go into a loop. This was from a previous post. KAOS told me to flash it back to 2.17 and then 3.16serveral times. I don't know if i still have to do this, when i am loading a stock rom.

I figured out what the problem was I unlocked the phone to 1.10
then relocked it 1.06 rebooted
- went to Bootloader Mode (Camera, Power, Reset)
- Tried again and it is in process right now 39%

- that is for Future Info.

- CASE CLOSED :)
