icons help!

I'm using the iPhonez interface and i made some icons. i saved them as a png for the shadow but the white parts in the icons are clear. ex i created a Slide2Unlock icon and the lock is supposed to be white but its clear.what am i doing wrong?plz help.

im not much into the icon making for apps besides htc home. i know that louie or mod is great at this so when he sees this he will be able to help you.

NVM i figured it out.for anyone wanting to know why that happens its because your icon's BG can't be clear it has to be a color.pink.
