I bought a mini USB that fits in the Touch to 3.5mm output so i could plug it in my AUX jack in my car to listen to it like an IPOD, but when i plug it in it just plays through the phones speaker it won't send audio through the cord or reconize that there is a adapter pluged in. Any ideas on what to do or will it just not work?

hmmmm never tried to play through my cars speakers before in that matter i always used bluetooth since my tv/cd player in my car supports bluetooth..... does the radio have to be set to a certain station or anythign first???? and make sure it is pushed all the way in too.

It's like my phone won't recognize that I have something plugged in and it just plays through the speaker on the phone usually it will just cut out the phone speaker and play through whatever you have plugged in. I'm not sure why it won't recognize that i have a device plugged into the phone.

With the adapter that comes with the phone it will need a 2.5 mm (3/32) to 3.5 mm (1/8) adapter. Make sure you get 3 black rings on the 2.5mm side, it will actually need 4 contacts. The 2 ring version will only output onto one side. The reason for this, is because that adapter was meant for a headset 1 contact for ground, 1 for a speaker, and 1 for the mic. The 3 ring will give you 4 contacts, 1 for mic, 1 for ground, and 2 for speakers (right and left channels). This phone was designed to use the adapter that comes with it, I think the akward shape has something to do with audio, where a mini usb will not work.
