I just installed the newest version of the s2u2 program and know i have no sound when the phone rings and my media player. I checked the volumes and everything is set to high, and i checked the ring tone and it is still set with the same tone. Any suggestions please.

huh dont know what to tell you , just uninstall the program. i dont use the app for those reasons since they are still very buggy, that would be your best shot to get your phone to ring again. also have you tried a soft reset to see if thats all that it needed since i havent heard of no volume due to slide2unlock before.

if i put it close to my ear i hear the sound of the phone ringing and when i play music i can hear it faint. I did plug in the headphone and it sounds great.
i hardly play music so i don't see how i could blow a speaker, but anything is possible.

i went to the sound settings and all the boxes are checked. screen tap is set to loud and hardware button to loud and the slider volume for the phone is on highest level.

right but is it loud when you tap the screen or cant you hear that either???? if you cant hear that and a hard reset doesnt fix it you have a blown speaker or a speaker that got wet and at that point you would have to go through insurance and choke up the 50 bux if it is water damage since they wont repair water damage........ but if not water and your positive bring it into the store..... hope you got insurance bro since it sounds liek a blown speaker to me.
