just wanted to add, that if you are using the old MusicID, you can go ahead and delete that off your device and this install will install to start menue>multimedia (folder)

i have the option to ddo so in the menu area of the options. some people have said that it is blacked out and others like me have had no problems with doing so.

the reason why it is blackedout for some people is because they have a phone with a sliding keyboard so you gotta slide out the keyboard or rotate you screen to landscape in order to acivate that option

Hey guys,

I hate to have to ask you, but i tried finding my answer everywhere else before resorting to posting here to find the answer. I have this installed on my HTC Touch and the Music ID, and XM work just fine, but when i run the MobiTV it loads the program and everything as well as the guide list but when i choose a channel, after it buffers it starts to play the sound but where the video would be there is just a rotating "waiting" symbol that just keeps rotating in the area and never loads the actual video. Do you know what might be the cause of this, or how I might be able to fix it?

kk that rotating image is the wait cursor lol try reinstalling the app or doing a soft reset and you may not be in a good enough internet connection to stream video and all

nope yo u just have to soft reset once every 3 days to reset the crack and keep the aps free

Just wanted to say thanks, and to let some know that i flew from wichita falls, tx, not the greatest for data, and the mobitv doesnt give video just audio, and sometimes doesnt work at all, but then like i said flew to las vegas, and this prog worked like a dream, so its definately an area thing, One more thing is my friend purchased mobitv from the website, and his works, but its a different version. btw the stations on xm are all the available stations that you can listen to online. not all are streamed online. just their top ones.

No, it wasnt that. I had already tried that . The app would semi freeze, Dpad wouldn't work or screen and it wouldnt close(even through task manager) had to soft reset to close. But i uninstalled and reinstalled and its working now :)

Maybe it's a Virginia thing. But I've tried all the above. Soft resetting, re-installing..EVERYTHING...Dash installed my program so Iknow it was done correctly. Anyway...im up super early to get the sprint file to Dash. *yawns*

Ok, I will clarify. I understand exactly what you are saying as I have had this for 2 months. I have had no problems until yesterday it expired as I noticed day prior it said 1 day left in trial so I soft reset and it did nothing for Mobi TV. I soft reset at least once a day anyhow. So after all that I did a complete uninstall of it and a soft reset used sktools to look for traces of it and did a re-install and it still does not work. As I said prior XM Radio is still working and maintains the 3 day trial.

Note: I have standard ROM

I don't know if it is relevant, but this didn't happen to me until after I installed the SprintTV cab a couple days ago. Now MobiTV won't work any more.

Also, has anyone gone to the the site the message references? I typed it into my browser and it tried to download some unknown file. Suspicious!

I installed SprintTV and right after that MobiTV doesn't work. I'm thinking that since you're able to do subscriptions on SprintTV that it checks the sites that are compatible, and since MobiTV has similar stations to the premium channels on SprintTV, it's causing this hiccup. I'm gonna uninstall SprintTV because ESPN was not included and I need my playoffs.

If we could get the streaming links that these programs use, it would be easier to use HTC Streaming Media cab to watch these, and wouldn't have to pay jack. Just a suggestion

Central west coast of florida here and I never subscribed just the 3day trial daily soft reset. I never had conflicts with sprint/mobi. XM is still saying 3 days as well. I read something about "Howard Forums" and they posted the links to all/some of the stations that Mobi/sprint offered so they probably dug a little deeper. I had no luck with cracked version either. I found a busted link in rapidshare and a few download areas that charge for daily downloads but thats it

So I called sprint and spoke to technical support tier 1 and tier 2, and they both say that they are in no way part of mobitv. and that if anything weird is happening with mobitv on our devices they said to contact mobitv. I have had no problems until yesterday it expired as I noticed day prior it said 1 day left in trial so I soft reset and it did nothing for Mobi TV. I soft reset at least once a day anyhow. As I said prior XM Radio is still working and maintains the 3 day trial.

Same here. In Florida, using my AT&T Tilt. XM radio working fine, but MobiTV now expired. I've been soft resetting (turning off my phone) daily. Let's hope a new fixed version comes out.

I have the same problem. Trial ran out on the Mobi but every time I start the XM I get the 3 days left on your trial deal. What is the work around? Is it a certificate?

Why bother saying, "Please search" when it doesn't seem that anyone has a clue about why this is happening anyway. It seems like very little is being said on here that could possibly do us any good. Dude it has been said... you are just as helpless as other members. IT WORKS FOR SOME AND NOT OTHERS!! It has been disscussed and there are a lot of clever people on here. If you were one you would be able to answer your question without having to post it!! WE ARE WORKING ON A FIX!!

ok i just woke up and seen all this and dont wanan sound mean but come on guys. you have had it for soooo long and i know you like it but i will try my best to get it back for you. i too do have a life and cant just spend hours trying to fix this and all that. i would love to but i got to do my thang also, you feel? but i will try myt hardest to get this done for you so we can all have tv again. this is on my list of things to do asnd might take a while...... think of all i do i need time to get this done also so please dont bother me on is it close to being fixed..... i have to answer questions, post applications, just fixed so no registration needed on guitar hero, reup links, fullfill requests, crack sprint tv in the works, try to fix this on top if that, etc , etc.... but trust me you will see it and get mobitv when i get a chance......

ok all i have worked on this throughout the night and am calling this SOLVED at this point. all mobitv is actually is a player that when you select a channel it brings you to a website and streams from that site. so basically its a lash player...... YOU NEED TO HAVE EITHER SKYFIRE OR A APPLICABLE FLASH PACKAGE TO PLAY THESE!!! but heres a list of the webistes and what to do to have these channels streaming. i have tested all these ansd they do work on my mogul without problem or lag through Skyfire.

qtv.mobitv.com/sprintTVlive.mcd

1. Copy and paste that link into the address bar.

2. Don't run it but save it to your computer.

3. Find it on your computer and OPEN it up. Select to open it with Internet Explorer or the browser of your choice.

4. There will be a whole bunch of links. Choose the channel you want to watch...

great app, i've use it for at least a month, then the unexpected, i remember was watching discovery for like 45mins last tuesday at work....soft reset it...all good, today i turn mobitv on and i got the "u will exit the app to complete ur purchase", all i got at the bottom r the "Done" & "Buy" buttons....NO tv, i try full uninstall with SKtools then reinstall and still got the same purchase message. Any suggestions to go back to the "Unlimited" status???

bro they will get you in a few days and you wont get any channels... it takes time before they zap ya bro! sorry to say but its bound to happen!

Mine just started to work again today too. No hard reset. They might ixnay it though. Oh well. Good for a lil at least.

bro its been discussed numerous times already, mobitv isnt working anymore, the staff is figuring out a way to bring it back but in the meantime, it cant be used

hey i got the mobi tv app on my phone but wen i soft reset it didnt go back to the 3 day trial now it wont let me use it at all it says i have to buy it. i uninstalled it and put it back on and tried all i know how to do, is there anyway to get it to work again cuz this app really got me through sum long days?
