you can use pdanet if you have a non wifi device or wmwifirouter if you do and just tether and use that

Actually I think they were a pretty smart way of keeping people playing. If you think about it gamers are driven by the need to achieve and earn within games, we also get bored easily. So one day one of us is sitting at level 55, gets bored and decides to to prestige. Guaranteed for the next week or so that same gamer is glued to the game trying to get back at least the basic weapons needed to enjoy the game. Worked on me, I stopped playing for a little bit and was in a slump, decided to go prestige and started playing the game all over again to get my guns back.
