For some reason I was unable to enter a screen name anywhere. Is there a special way of doing it? Just running the program didn't leave anywhere to enter a screen name.

Nope, I just don't think its compatible with the PPC6800.

There are like four icons once you launch the program, only 1 icon is clickable.
The buddy list, which says you have to log in if you click it (error msg style).
Top left corner is the menu, which drops down with 4 options all of which are
grayed out, (basically menu version of the 4 icons). Then in the top right corner
there is a drop down that says New User in karrots <>, click the drop down it
has a check mark next to new user, and there is basically nothing that can be
done. I tried both downloads, the rapidshare and the aim.com link to d/l from
their site. Neither worked, both were the same.
