When i tried running it on my mogul it gave me a error message that says" The file.... cannot be opened.either it is not signes with a trusted certificate,or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring the file.

heres the fix 1) open up v tap from your start menu instead of a homescreen button the if that dosent work do as the porgram says and try reinstalling it and if that dosent work than get back to me on this forum by posting in this spot and ill figure it out

i dont know why that you would be getting the error and all many other users got it to work... just keep trying i guess since i cant think of any other way for me to be able to describe how to describe it and all.

yes you can do that but if that doesnt work as said before you can go to www.vtap.com and try to download from there also and than read up more on it also.

Where do i drag the file, i usually put it under my windows mobile based device and go to file explore to open and then go to programs and run it, its not working when i try to install it. whats going on

download the program there
drag it on you phone
install it on your phone from your phone
soft reset
run it
there should be absolutly no problems with that

i installed mine from the vtap site from the computer to the phone it was an exe file when i chose my phone. so do it in tyhat manner.

bro please dont start that shit again it does work i watch it on my mogul through vtap. it is even an options for a specific download at www.vtap.com so dont say that it doesnt when it does. go to their webite and check it out before you say it doesnt work.

have you done a soft reset after install???? if not try that and if that doesnt work try to uninstall than reinstall and see what that does for you.

mogul user note: On vtaps site when i clicked on my mogul sprint link.It downloads a exe file.It will not run on pc(at least mine).Or on phone(at least mine).I put in program folder as well as start menu folder.To no luck.But I just Google searched vtap cab.very first result gave me 2 cabs.one for touch and one for non touch phones.I dragged to phone.i put in my documents.installed and worked after not a problem.I think vtaps exe or link for it is messed a little.I tried thinking maybe its a compatibility issue.By this I mean built for xp (i run vista)to be run from pc.So I suggest just go straight for the cab file.less stress.^_^hope this helps those with the mogul

Everyone who is having problems with the mogul and vtap, dash is right, it does work, i was getting the same message, but look for the post by "kaos" and get the .cab file he gives you. It installs fast and straight, will definetely work for all of you who were getting the same message!!!!!!!!

I downloaded the vTAP videos app. It is now on my homescreen, I can watch videos directly from this app but I cannot go to youtube and watch them. Did I do something wrong? I also have to wait for the videos to fully load up before watching them and then it is still choppy at times. Any ideas on what I did wrong? I downloaded the app from the vtap website.

i dont get choppy play and you do the search and it finds them on youtube so you dotn actually have to go to the site and all. if you wanna go to the site you will need the skunks flash package.

Thanks for keeping the links updated so I could download this app. Worked fine on install but after soft-reboot HTC Home wouldn't load on my today screen. I removed vTap (from the Today screen - didn't need to un-install though) and after another soft-reset everything is back to normal and I can still launch vTap from the Programs menu fine.

Oh, and it also dawned on me that this is the app referenced in D/\sh's Touch iPhone Cube demo on youtube (it was in his Cube and called "Media Streaming" which I assumed had something to do with a Streambox ysort of device). Bonus pretzel.

to anybody having problems all i did was go to www.vtap.com on my PHONES browser and it took me directly to the download page, i clicked download and saved it into my documents and it opened itself up. i diddnt have to drag it into the start menu or soft reset it just installed, i clicked it, and watched videos, if your having trouble then your not doing it right its pretty straight forward,

If I remember correctly, I downloaded vTap from their site onto my computer. Because it was an EXE file, I double clicked it on my computer. Of course, I had my phone connected to the computer the entire time, so double clicking the file on my computer ended up automatically installing the vTap program on my phone. I think people who are having problems installing programs sometimes forget that their phones need to be connected to their computer in order to get some programs installed.
