what you do is extract all files from the zip into a regular folder. place that folder where you choose and run the exe file and your done. the only thing is that it cant be mapped anywhere to open it unless you do it as your soft button like it did in place of the calender. hope this helps, if so hit that rep.

thanx man
only thing is though everytime i turn off the phone and turn it back on
I have to go through the hassel of clickin the EXE file each and everytime in order for it to work, because if i just click on the soft key on the launcher
it gives me an error " The file AudioManager cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or on of its components cannot be found. If the problem persist, try reinstalling or restoring this file"

There is no application associated with "SKTOOLs. v3.1.9.ALL.PPC. in cl.keygen". Run the application first, then open this file from within the application.
thats the error i get
D/\SH
11-25-2007, 06:18 PM
did you extract the file first???? there a cab file and a keygen in the file. extract the cab file and they keygen from that on your computer than drag the cab over to the phone and run the keygen on your computer not the phone.

right run sktools and than go to tools/registration and your code to put in there goes there. please try to keep this thread to the audio manager and not sktools. if your having sktools problems please create a new thread though bro and thanks

what you have to do is go to sktools and open the program. than go to tube up than buttons. soft key 1 label name it what you wan tot show and for soft key 1 path highlight that than go to the top right corner with the dots and click on that and select where you have the audio manager installed folder wise and choose the htc audio manager.exe than close out of the program and soft reset for changes to be effective and stick.

those you cant change where they go to and all..... that is the htc homeplugin and changes cannot be made to the icons besides the appearence of them.

no i dont i dont ever open the media player on my videos besides with the softkey??? and what button are you using that gives you the error???? and dont understand why it wouldnt work and all what i would do it uninstall the 6 buttton tab cab file and reinstall and see if that fixes the problem.. i have no clue how to remap those to tell the truth.... somewhere in the registry theres a spot but i cant remember where its at since i never use it and all... but try to uninstall and reinstall and see what that does.

tight come to find out though he was talking bout the htc homeplugin music tab
D/\SH
11-26-2007, 12:54 AM
ok you have to do this registry tweak to get the htc home customizer music tab to work this is what you have to change!!!! Hit that rep bro and this tweak will make it so it opens the htc audio manager for ya
HKLM Local Machine\SOFTWARE\HTC\Music Plug-In
Change MusicPlayer value to 2
EDIT: Thanksto tigerz for this to not get the error you have to have the HTC Audio Manager open. you can have it minimized in the background but if you close it and try to open it on the tab you will end up getting the error and all. so hit the rep for tigerz.

ya i realized you have to have it open also
i was hopin there was a way to just straight link it so i dont have to have the hassel of opening it each and everytime i wanna use it
the windows media player music player is so not user friendly, at least i dont liek it

open it on a soft reset and leave it open no big deal doesn't eat alway the memory on the phone bad at all. you have to have around 67mb free after around the same after having it open and running for me. just have it minimized in the background trust me you wont even know that it is there.

Ok...so I've just recently bumped into this problem, so I decided to re-up this thread to see if anything has been found to make the it work. I thought I did something wrong, but I guess this is something that still, as some peeps said, need some tweaking. But can someone let me know if they have figured it out? When you go to HTC Home Cust. you can choose Windows Media or Audio Manager, but still doesn't work. But if you choose Windows Media, it will open that. So just wanted to know an update to see if we can get Audio Manger set upon that button. Thanks bros!
