When I install this on the HTC Touch, it just loads up the NFL website instead of the program. My phone is newer and therefore isnt technically NFL Mobile compatible, but I'd assume I'd get the Java app like the image in this post indicates. Is there a work-around? I'm pretty sure the touch can handle Java.

sorry, i didn't notice my post didn't work.

I downloaded your file, and took the NFL Mobile Cab file from it. I installed that on my phone and I'm having the same thing I did with the old one. Instead of loading the JAVA Application that I had access to on my older Sprint phone, it's just loading internet explorer and bringing me to a Sprint NFL Mobile website. I'd post the link, but it won't let me.

Any ideas? Are you actually getting the JAVA App to run on your Touch? The website is obviously a LOT less featured, doesn't even format properly on my phone.

well maby if you went to the wap site you would have better luck with that so dont diss before you know. and yes it works fine on my mogul and touch. must just be the area for the site and all and brings the app up quickly and efficiently like it should.

Hey Dash, thanks for the input but I wasn't dissing it before I knew. Let me explain what I'm describing a little bit better. This 'program' is simply launching Internet Explorer. It's no different than if I just saved the webpage it launches into my IE favorites. It doesn't remember the favorite team I selected last time I visited. It doesnt have any of the menu graphics/buttons saved so it has to redownload them everytime I load a new page, it doesn't save my requests to send me alerts (game alerts, fantasy alerts, draft alerts which I just tested this weekend, etc). It doesn't save my fantasy players to look at my team's stats. It's just an information website, not much different than what i could get on nfl.com's mobile page, or espn.com's mobile page. I ran NFL Mobile which I downloaded from sprint on my old Samsung cell phone and it opened up a full screen JAVA program that DID all of these things. The NFL Mobile Program is supposed to include Live Streaming NFL Network THROUGH the program, not just through Sprint TV. It had NFL Video highlights and play by plays from every game, including audio highlights.

If you go to

http://www.sprintenterprise.com/NFL/

and click the small yellow button that says "View NFL Mobile Demo" it will show you a video outlining the program I'm referring to. some of the things look similar to the website, but it is definately not the same thing.

sorry if this isn't appropriate for this thread as my issue has more to do with the compatability with my phone model and not the program, but i've been informed that I should keep future posts about this topic in this thread.

just another peice of info that may help explain what I'm describing is the NFL Mobile commercial sprint put out. this commercial shows the exact program i had on my old phone, but is different from what i'm getting on my sprint htc touch.

EDIT: also, found another thread on some different forums that seems to be discussing what I'm talking about with the MotoQ
